Got Questions? We Have Answers

Everything you need to know about timelines, language tests, financials, and what to expect at each step.

Japan

For most language school programs in Japan, a minimum of JLPT N5 or NAT-TEST Level 5 is recommended. Some institutions may accept students with basic Japanese if they enroll in beginner-level programs. Niigata International provides N5 foundation training before application.
A Student Visa allows you to study at Japanese language schools or universities. The Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Visa allows you to work in specific industries such as manufacturing, food service, and nursing care after passing the SSW skill test and JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic. We offer preparation for both tracks.
Typically 3 to 6 months from application submission to Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) issuance. Visa stamping after CoE takes an additional 5 to 10 working days. Niigata International manages the entire timeline to ensure no deadlines are missed.

Language Requirements

For the UK, most universities require IELTS 6.0 to 6.5 overall with no band below 5.5. For Australia, Subclass 500 requires a minimum of IELTS 5.5 to 6.0 depending on the course and institution. We offer intensive IELTS preparation batches to help you reach your target score.
